An Alien Legacy - Sims 4 Legacy - Chapter One

Get to Work came out last night around 12:30am for me and I decided to jump straight in after watching some Let's Plays on YouTube. I've started a new legacy with an alien founder and I'm hoping I can continue this legacy for a long, long time (maybe even 100 generations!). Anyway, I'm learning Get to Work things as I go along. Hope you guys enjoy!

Welcome to the beginning of An Alien Legacy. I was excited to play around with the new alien CAS section and decided that I wanted to experiment with alien/sim hybrids and what better way to do that than a Legacy? So, here we go, jumping straight in and learning as we go...

All I have ever known has been the galaxy, and yet, I find myself almost excited to be living on this tiny planet called Earth. I have brought the only possession that mattered to me - my father's military uniform from his last days in the InterGalactic War. It shall guide me as I embark on a new mission.

My name is Onoro Krplong. I am the seventeeth Karputalin generation, and the first to arrive on Earth. I will study these creatures, immerse myself in their culture and create a new super race with a hybrid of my own genetics and theirs.
My mental capacity has been classed as that of Genius level for Earth and my tendency to express myself through art is known as being Creative, I am told. I long to have a family - my father once said that I was too Family Oriented - but a Domestic life would not be so terrible.

My humble beginnings were, I believe, a normal start for humans. It is my belief that I must get what is called a job to earn money and build a new foundation for my life.

Naturally, I can't have anyone knowing that I am an 'alien', as they would call me. I do believe my mesh skin disguise is undetectable.

I begin my exploration of this planet by seeking out its natural resources. I am intrigued by all the plants, rocks, and creatures that there are to find.

There are certainly some strange things to find. Decorative eggs and strange little statues were not what I was expecting...

After my first exploration around my expansive piece of land, my next task was to discover some of the local aquatic life.

While there, I had my first encounter with a human - and a male one at that. I was hoping that I could start my task of setting up a genetic hybrid experiment soon.

I was over-zealous in my approach, however, when I scanned him for his important information - which led me to discover that he is married. I know that marriage is an important institution on Earth and so I shall move on to find a single male specimen.

My disguise does not work when I use my 'alien' techniques to gather information. This human laughed when he discovered my secret, but I don't think he will tell anyone else.

I used the customary human signal to say goodbye when he left. I think my secret is still safe.

Money was very low and I had no way of cooking food. In the end, I ordered a special food called pizza. It did not arrive.

I was so delirious with hunger when I went to bed that night that I forgot to take off my disguise. In the morning, it felt like the mesh flesh was crawling with a hundred insects - the disguises are not meant to be worn so continuously.

For a brief time, before my first day at work, I let myself be myself. It felt wonderful.

The science facility here on Earth is astounding. I am excited to explore all that it has to offer.

Before I could do anything, however, I needed to eat!

One of my female co-workers approached me while I was eating. I hoped that she didn't suspect my disguise. I do not want to become an experiment for them.

There's an interesting machine in the facility that has an AI and can talk to you. I spend at least ten minutes during every shift discussing things with it.

Most of my days at work are spent testing theories, building new inventions and experimenting. It's actually a really fun job.

My food situation was becoming dire, however, as I was living off the land around me, mostly eating fruit.

Luckily, promotions were forthcoming and I was able to afford a stove. Real, cooked food has never tasted so good.

I forgot to wear my disguise to work one day and my annoying co-worker Kaylee 'discovered' me. She was so smug about it too.

Luckily for me, I had just invented a freeze ray and needed a test subject.

It was hilarious, if I do say so myself.

When you're poor, there's not a lot of things to do for fun. I bought a stereo hoping it would lift my spirits, but my terrible dancing skills just made them plummet again.

In case I find myself without money for food again, I've started a small garden so that I have a food supply.

I accidentally set a chair on fire at work one day when I was trying to transform it. My co-workers started freaking out about it.

My freeze ray comes in handy for all sorts of things like that though.

With some promotions under my belt, it was time to move forward with my hybrid plans. I sought out more male humans around the fishing spot. This specimen, however, was married to annoying co-worker Kaylee.

Donning my disguise once more (I've stopped wearing it to work now), I headed to the local night club as I'd heard it was a good place to meet people.

I was excited to meet this familiar looking man from the science facility there... until I found out that he was married too. I was beginning to feel like there were no single males available for me.

But then Taylor Waller arrived. He's certainly a good choice for my project in the aesthetics department, his personality - Evil, Materialistic, Lazy, Dastardly - left a lot to be desired.

As every other male was taken already, I decided I couldn't be too picky about such trivial things. We quickly became friends and I invited him to co-habit my land. Now my hybrid project must move on to step two...
